Venom Testing

little girl receiving injection - Family and Allergy Doctor in West Virginia
Venom testing is done with an intradermal, so we can see the reaction. We do the injection testing and, once the antivenom is introduced, you are kept here to ensure that the results are positive and you don't react to the venom. No 2 venom test results are the same. If you are allergic, you react differently than another person who was bitten or stung.
We have a lab on premises, so you don't have to travel further for any lab work. Our established practice is always accepting new patients, and we accept most insurance plans.
